The US Mission to NATO publishes a comment on 2020 Parliamentary Elections in Georgia on its official Twitter page.
“As Georgia votes this weekend, we call for truly free and fair elections. Democratic values are the foundation for the US/Georgia strategic partnership & Georgia’s future NATO membership,” the US Mission to NATO wrote on Twitter.
The 2020 Parliamentary Elections are being held in Georgia today. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), more than 3.5 million Georgian citizens are eligible to vote in the October 31 elections.
Polling stations are open from 8am to 8pm.
