Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili declares the tourism industry continues to develop and recover with positive dynamics.

"We can be proud of August results. We not only fully recovered to the pre-pandmeic rate, but also improved it by 30%. According to January-August, our country received USD 2.1 billion from the tourism industry," Kvrivishvili said.

According to the deputy minister, the fact that the share of countries in tourism income statistics is more diversified is also important.

"The share of income from the EU countries, as well as the Gulf States and Israel is very important. We will continue all those activities that contribute to the growth of tourist flows and income," said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
