The Inter-Agency Coordination Council decided not to strengthen further current COVID-related restrictions. According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of NCDC, by the decision of the Coordination Council, control will be most tightened on the existed regulations.

“We discussed a lot and decided not to add anything to the current restrictions, but control will be most tightened on the existed regulations. We must talk more to the population, that deterioration of the current situations is expected”, - Amiran Gamkrelidze declared.

Giorgi Ghibradze, Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council notes that any decision taken by the Coordination Council is taken based on the analysis of epidemiological situation in the country. He declares that the government of Georgia tries to avoid tightened restrictions.
