Mari Chachanidze, Managing Director of TBC Capital, says the impact of Coronavirus on the global economy is likely to continue until summer.
She notes that the situation is changing every hour, and only a few scenarios are justified.
“It is very difficult to make predictions and we can only discuss scenarios. Information is updated every hour. If we go by the most optimistic scenario and take the example of China, which managed to stop the pandemic from spreading in a month and a half, where 80% of the halted production is already restored. We should hope that the rest of the world will be able to stop the pandemic in a similar timeframe. We do not expect any positive changes until summer”, she said.
