We have entered the peak phase and it will last for about 10 days, - said the First Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council.
Deputy Health Minister reported that the imposition of additional regulations or restrictive measures were not planned. She noted that prognoses to be received from international partners would prompt future actions.
"At this stage, the most important thing is to enforce the existing restrictions. Today, the board discussed the tightening of existing measures and monitoring, as well as strict recommendations regarding the wearing of facemask, as the facemask is one of the main means of protection against the virus. According to the estimates of international partners, today we have entered the peak phase and it will last for about 10 days", - Gabunia said.
