According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, based on the experience of countries where children over the age of 12 are already being vaccinated, Georgia can make a relevant decision.

According to Tamar Gabunia, it is natural for children to be vaccinated according to the parent's decision.

"Vaccination of children over 12 years of age is one of the important ones that will bring us closer to the end of the epidemic. It will be discussed by the vaccination committee and a decision will be made in the next 2-3 weeks.

Of course, we are waiting for the WHO recommendation, but a number of European countries are already doing vaccinations and I think we can judge based on their experience. Naturally, 'vaccination' will be possible by the decision and desire of the parent," said Tamar Gabunia.
