“We will overcome this unlucky case by which the COVID-vaccination started”, said Tamar Gabunia, the Deputy Minister of Health.

According to her, Akhaltsikhe case is a big blow, but the vital risk that the world has to deal with is a pandemic.

"We all agree on the benefits of the vaccine today, and hopefully the benefits of the vaccine will outweigh the risks. All the lives lost are a tragedy, but when we talk about the epidemic, we must think about the expected benefits and how many lives we will save if all of us are vaccinated. With further enhancing safety standards, we will overcome the unlucky case by which the COVID-vaccination started. We will have the strength and wisdom to bring the goals to the point in order to protect a lot of lives in the country," Gabunia said.
