According to the Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili, it is quite possible to double the funds allocated for clinics for vaccination.

As a result, medical institutions will receive 10 GEL instead of 5 GEL for a double vaccination of one person. According to the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia, the funds need to be doubled, as the need for additional services, such as first aid, has been identified during the vaccination process.

The Minister of Finance says that vaccination is a priority not only for health but also for the economy, so the allocation of funds in this direction will not be delayed.

"It is quite possible to double this amount because vaccination is a priority, not only in terms of health but also in terms of the economy, as vaccination is the primary medicine of the economy.

We hope that the daily rate of vaccination, which is already 6 thousand, will increase, and the summer period will be used for that," said Lasha Khutsishvili.

According to him, the problem of mobilizing money for the purchase of vaccines has never been on the agenda. Lasha Khutsishvili says that the amount allocated for vaccines is as much as the country can afford to buy vaccines.

"Financial resources were not a problem at any stage of the vaccination. No matter how much money is needed, there is no problem in mobilizing this money," said Lasha Khutsishvili.
