In Tbilisi, almost 4 times more money was transferred to the budget in the post-rehabilitation period by the entities that traded on New Agmashenebeli Avenue.

Statistics provided by the Tbilisi Development Fund show that in 2015 before the avenue was rehabilitated, the amount paid to the budget by traders was equal to a total of 158,174 GEL. In 2017, the traders on the newly rehabilitated New Agmashenebeli Avenue paid a total of 572,335 GEL in taxes to the budget.

According to the Tbilisi Development Fund, only 20 mixed-type commercial spaces were located on the avenue before the rehabilitation. In the 2 years since the rehabilitation, about 50 food outlets, 20 small hotels, and 15 offices have appeared on the avenue.

For reference, New Agmashenebeli Avenue is one of the first historic districts to be rehabilitated during the Georgian Dream government. In total, the project cost up to 30 million GEL.
