Amiran Gamkrelie, director of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) says, that number of vaccinations has increased slightly due to the new government initiatives, including GEL 200 supplement for people over 60, as well as announcing launch of the Green Passport System.
"I am a little happy, because more than 7,000 vaccine doses have been administrated from the morning. We did not have such high activity in November. New initiatives, including Green Pass and GEL 200 supplement for citizens above 60 had a slight effect. Yesterday, 6,000 doses were administrated, while today 7,000 citizens took the jabs today. I deeply hope that it will gradually increase," Gamkrelidze said.
