The average number of employees in 3Q20 equaled to 645.6 thousand, which is year-on-year 7.2% less; Out of the total number of employees, 40.8% are female and 59.2% are male – Geostat released a report yesterday.
According to Geostat, 40.5% of the total number of employees comes on large, 22.7% – on medium and 36.8% - on small businesses.
Official statistics also show that the total number of employed persons amounted to 610.4 thousand, which means a year-on-year loss of 6.4%. While in the same period, the total personnel costs of enterprises equaled 2 437.8 million GEL, which is year-on-year 7.4% less.
