Minister of Economy Natia Turnava does not name the flights that will be resumed from the end of October. She said the draft government decision is ready and will be made public in the coming days after consideration.

"We have decided on flights, which is in line with the adaptation policy to increase the frequency of regular flights to Europe by the end of October.

This will greatly help us to ensure the arrival of organized international observers for our elections and to gradually increase the number of flights from November, which is an important decision."I will not name specific destinations for one simple reason, because we have already prepared a draft government decision, but the government should discuss it first. In the coming days, it will be reflected in a public decision on what additional destinations will be opened for different airlines, including regular flights," Natia Turnava said.

The Minister of Economy noted that the decision to resume flights was made together with epidemiologists. The flights will be resumed mainly from Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports to Europe.

According to her, low-budget airlines will also be able to resume flights.
