Today Transfermarkt – reference site for fans of player ratings and statistics – updated market value of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Georgian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Serie A club Napoli and the Georgia national team, adding additional EUR 25 million to his market cost. The market value of Kvaratskhelia was EUR 65 million for November 2022. Today that number is north of EUR 85 million. According to reports, PSG is considering inviting Napoli striker Kvaratskhelia in the summer transfer window and is ready to pay EUR 180 million.

As a result of Today's update, Kvaratskhelia improved its own record among Georgian football players.

To recall, Napoli purchased the Georgian attacker from "Dinamo" Batumi for 10 million euros at the beginning of the current season.  Kvaratskhelia's contract with the Naples club runs until the summer of 2027.

Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have named Napoli sensation Kvicha Kvaratskhelia among their top objectives to land in the summer transfer window after a blistering debut season in Serie A with the Partenopei.

The diminutive Georgian is one of the most sought-after properties on the global market after a meteoric rise to the top of the game in little under eight months in Naples.

Since his arrival in Italy, the 22-year-old has registered 13 goals and 13 assists from 29 competitive outings, of which 11 goals and nine assists have come in the league.

Extraordinary numbers, especially given the now-unthinkably affordable fee of around €10m Napoli paid to obtain him from Dinamo Batumi in the summer.

According to reports in Corriere dello Sport, his remarkable performances and contributions have led a host of the world’s most prestigious clubs prepared to spend lavish amounts to snatch him away from Luciano Spalletti and Napoli.

Given their extensive spending capabilities, PSG are among the few clubs who could afford to tempt Napoli into parting ways with the seemingly-unstoppable winger.

The reports are that PSG are willing to spend up to €180m in an attempt to land Kvaratskhelia’s signature.

The estimated fee would likely put him level with Kylian Mbappe as the second-most expensive player in the history of the sport, Football Italya reports.
