"It is important that both the financial sector and the state can help in the transformation of businesses," Zurab Masurashvili, Head of SME Business at Bank of Georgia told Business Morning.
As Masurashvili noted, the bank supports consumers in every possible way to defer payments and this process will continue until it is needed.
"The first lockdown was easier for some businesses because they were able to move through that period with pre-existing resources, but the second lockdown hurts some businesses more significantly. Some companies have adapted and switched to online sales, but others whose business specifics do not include online sales, it is a more difficult period " Masurashvili explained.
