"Aviation sector in the country may develop in a better direction,” industrial designer Zviad Tsikolia told TV-program "Business Morning”.
According to Tsikolia, Georgia is at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, so the country can use it well, including in the production of aircraft.
"Our workers’ wages are not equal to the European salaries, so quite good products might be received at lower price, which will be beneficial for the country, as well as the manufacturer.
I do not have any common with the local production, this is a different technology and requires other types of materials. These are unacceptable for such a small aviation as ours. In our case, price of the detail is important, as well as technologies used in the manufacturing of the aircraft. Ultimately, we depend on the total cost of the project," Tsikolia said.
