As a result of the testing, 273 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,650,981.
As of April 7, the daily positive rate is 1.31%, for the last 14 days - 2.2% and for the last 7 days - 1.82%.
In the last 24 hours, 577 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,630,564.
1 coronavirus death was reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,766 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 273 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 101 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 17, Imereti - 37, Kvemo Kartli - 19, Shida Kartli - 21, Guria - 21, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 17, Kakheti - 21, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 6, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 6, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7.
The number of active cases amounts to 3,625.
