The salaries of civil servants will be increased by 10% from 2022 and - what is most important - it will not be a one-off initiative, as it will set a trend for the coming years, - Prime Minister Irakili Gharibashvili says in his message of congratulations to the civil servants in connection with their Professional Day.
“I wish to thank each and every civil servant. These are the people, who serve as a basis of the uninterrupted and effective performance of the state. That is why, it is our priority within the national authority to support and encourage them. We have already decided to increase the salaries of civil servants by 10% from 2022 and - what is most important - it will not be a one-off initiative, as it will set a trend for the coming years.
Our political team is aimed at making the professional civil servants as a cadre more attractive and competitive in future.
I once again congratulate each and every civil servant with their professional day and wish them progress and success in their work", reads the message of congratulations.
