A total of 42.4% of the adult population has been completely vaccinated in Georgia as of January 29, a total of 2 704 957 individuals received the Covid-19 vaccine amid a surge of cases, - show the data from NCDC.
According to the agency, 1 332 139 individuals or 46.4% has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 1 218 567 individuals or 42.4% is fully vaccinated.
The NCDC reports, that 151,998 persons were vaccinated with booster doses; 3,876 (2.19%) persons were vaccinated with at least 1 dose in 12-15 year olds, and 2,719 (1.53%) adults were fully vaccinated; 12,414 (15.31%) adults were vaccinated with at least 1 dose in 16-17 year olds, and 10,828 (13.35%) adults were fully vaccinated.
A total of 8,310 vaccinations were administered across the country on January 28, with the following distribution by regions: Tbilisi - 3,295; Adjara - 1,000; Imereti - 944; Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 848; Kvemo Kartli - 534; Guria - 524; Kakheti - 396; Shida Kartli - 379; Samtskhe-Javakheti - 236; Mtskheta - Mtianeti-113; Racha-Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti - 41.
