1,815,776 voters participated in the local self-government elections, which is 51.92% of the total number of voters.
Natia Ioseliani, the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, stated about it at the information briefing held at the CEC.
According to her, the voting process took place mainly in a calm environment - 366 complaints were filed.
Polling stations closed at exactly 20:00. The counting process is now underway.
