At present, 9 institutions are ready for Pfizer vaccination across the country.
As Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia stated at the briefing held in the governmental administration, the process of selecting the institutions continues.
"Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to the preparation for vaccination. The Regulatory Agency assessed 12 facilities and 9 of them meet the requirements for the Pfizer vaccine. Training will begin at these facilities this week. The process of selecting facilities continues, as our goal is to have about 15 facilities identified so that the vaccination process can be completed as soon as the vaccine arrives in the country,” Gabunia said.
