According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, to determine how effective the vaccination is in the fight against Covid-19, the Ministry of Health conducted a study, according to which 95% of infected patients placed in clinics are unvaccinated.
"To make it even clearer how important vaccination is for the citizens, we surveyed the share of people vaccinated with one or two doses in hospitalized patients.
2.85% of patients vaccinated with a single dose were admitted to the clinic. Only 2.13% of patients of admitted patients were vaccinated with 2 doses.
At the clinic today, 95% of people who have not had a single dose of the vaccine undergo treatment.
"This highlights once again how effective the vaccine is in managing the Covid pandemic," the minister said, urging citizens to get involved in the vaccination process.
