The National Center for Disease Control has published a report. According to the report, 98.96% of the citizens who died from coronavirus were unvaccinated. The study covers a period from March 15 to September 30.
The report reads that fully vaccinated individuals are 9.44 times less likely to become infected than non-vaccinated individuals. In fully vaccinated individuals, the effectiveness of protection against infection is 89.41%.
The overall efficacy of hospitalization in persons fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine is 93.35%, including: vaccination in the age group ≥60 is 92.29% effective against hospitalization, in 18-59 age group the efficacy of the vaccine is 94.64%.
In the age group of 18-59 years, the protection against death among fully vaccinated is 99.34%.
In the ≥ 60 age group, full vaccination protects citizens against death by 97.24%.
