A 5-star hotel complex Le Meridien Sioni lake resort & spa by Archi on Sioni lake will be opened in about a year and half. "Archi" co-founder Ilia Tsulaia represented the project, but he did not specify the investment value of the project. However, as of the eralier reports with BMG, the company planned to invest up to USD 40 million for the implementation of this project.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze attended the presentation of a new hotel and recreation complex in Sioni, Mtskheta-Mtianeti Municipality.
In his speech, the PM said the country sees “extraordinary trends in tourism – the number of hotels has increased three times over the past 12 years and as of him, the government will continue to support tourism and such projects in the future, as such projects mean more employment, a stronger economy, and stronger regions.
"Archi" complex Le Meridien Sioni lake resort & spa complex located on a land area of about 3000 sq.m will unite indoor and outdoor pools, aquapark spa, health center, conference rooms and open terrace for 550 people; 5 restaurants, bars, lounges and cafes; open cinema; children's entertainment space; the winter garden; 3 km long boulevard by the lake.
The Le Merridien brand will manage the 126-room hotel. The complex also includes 5 aparthotels, which consist of luxury, art and modern studios. As Ilia Tsulaia said at the presentation of the project, some of the apartments have already been built. Apartments are fully renovated, furnished and equipped.
