A New Course for Armenia's Economy: President and Minister of Economy Discuss Development Strategy

The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, held a meeting with the newly appointed Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, to discuss key areas of economic development and strategies for overcoming current challenges.

On July 18, an important meeting took place at the Presidential Palace of Armenia, which may determine the future economic course of the country. The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the new Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, to discuss the current state and prospects of Armenia's economy.

President Khachaturyan, congratulating Papoyan on his appointment to the responsible post, emphasized the key role of the Ministry of Economy in the country's further development. "You will be leading a rather complex and important department, on the proper functioning of which the further development of the country largely depends," noted the head of state.

In response, Minister Papoyan assured the President of his readiness to make every effort to support and enhance the positive trends in Armenia's economy observed in recent years. He presented the current and planned programs of the ministry aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth.

Special attention was given to existing economic problems and strategies to address them. The discussion included the principles and directions of activity not only of the Ministry of Economy but also of other departments and the government as a whole, aimed at overcoming these challenges.
