Family hotel "Grilo" has opened in Khevsureti, 3 kilometers away from Mutso, on the Shatili-Omalo connecting route. The facility already welcomes its first guests.
The founder of the family hotel, Lukhum Sheketauri, told BM.GE that the idea of setting up the facility came up several years ago, based on requests from tourists, and for the implementation of the project, a grant was obtained from the state agency "Enterprise Georgia" last year. In total, 60,000 GEL was spent to organize the family hotel.
"We opened the hotel about a week ago and started receiving guests. It is located on the Tusheti-Khevsureti tourist route. We heard for years that they wanted to stay in a hotel, but there are not many such facilities, so we decided to bring the idea to completion," Lukhum Sheketauri notes.
One night stay in the family hotel "Grilo" costs 60 GEL and breakfast is included. A 4-room hotel can accommodate 16 people at a time. The founder of the hotel can also offer tours to Mutso and local tourist locations. Lukhum Sheketauri expects that the demand for their hotel will be more from foreigners. The new object will appear on Booking.com soon.
