In January-September of 2023, 5,566,980 international visitors came to Georgia, recording a rise of 43% compared to 2022 and a 76.9% recovery of the pre-pandemic data, based on the statistics published by the National Tourism Administration.
A total of 3,655,576 foreign tourists visited the country in January-September 2023, up 35.2% from 2022 and a 91.6% recovery from the 2019 data.
"As of Q3 2023, 2,706,863 international travelers visited Georgia, which is an 80.2% recovery from pre-pandemic data, and an +19.4% increase of compared to 2022.
In the period of July-September 2023, 1,725,093 international tourist visits took place in Georgia, which is a 92.6% recovery of the data of 2019, and an +15.4% increase compared to 2022.
