Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, will participate in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum on October 26-27. Natia Turnava will be the keynote speaker in the panel discussion - the Future of Fintech in the Growing Economy.

Famous representatives of global technologies will participate in the discussion together with Natia Turnava. These include: Pedro Vieira, Managing Partner of 500 Global, Andreas Glarner, MME legal partner and advisor to a number of international technology and financial market companies, Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit, Salim Dhanani, CEO and co-founder of Pave. The panel will be moderated by Aaron Heslehurst, a BBC World News presenter and celebrity.

"The world of the future depends on digital technologies. Digitization of services and products accelerates development and economic growth, brings people closer to each other and allows better use of resources. This also applies to the conventional banking sector. Fintech makes great impact on financial services industry all over the world, particularly affecting developing country markets.

The Silk Road Forum is important for putting forward the National Bank of Georgia's financial technology-supporting regulatory policy, which will increasingly have a positive impact on the expanded fintech-based regional cooperation among the Middle Corridor countries. I believe this forum is an important platform for sharing successful international experience," said Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the NBG.
