The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to continue and expand its financing for both public and private sector projects in Georgia, GD Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili announced following a meeting with ADB President Masato Kanda.
According to Khutsishvili, the discussion covered all ongoing ADB-funded projects in Georgia. President Kanda highlighted the country’s favourable economic environment, strong growth, and macroeconomic stability - key factors in securing further financial support.
“The ADB is a vital partner for Georgia, with a current investment portfolio of around USD 5.1 billion. The bank’s upcoming plans are ambitious, aiming to increase investment in Georgia and support job creation - one of its top priorities both here and across the region,” the Finance Minister said.
