AgroSkills.ge, Georgia’s digital agricultural education platform, has added five new video courses focused on green skills and sustainable development, according to Tamuna Gomiashvili, Vocational Education Coordinator at the Georgian Farmers’ Association.
The new courses cover digital farming, sustainable agriculture, good agricultural practices, certification and standardization, as well as green business models and access to green financing. Gomiashvili said the programs are designed to provide farmers with practical knowledge and tools for modern agricultural operations.
The platform currently offers 12 training courses and is free to access for users across Georgia. According to Gomiashvili, the content covers a wide range of agricultural sectors, making it relevant for both current and aspiring professionals.
Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, AgroSkills.ge combines theoretical learning with practical training. In addition to video lessons, instructors demonstrate agricultural techniques and processes, giving participants hands-on insights into farming practices. The platform is operated by the Georgian Farmers’ Association as part of its GFA Digital initiative.
