Aimbridge EMEA is the international division of leading global third-party hotel management company, Aimbridge Hospitality, which presence in eastern Europe has grown in recent years, and includes: Alliance Palace Aparthotel, The Alexandar Hotel, Yervan and Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio.

Alliance Palace Aparthotel, owned by Alliance Group, is one of the largest developers in Georgia. The property forms part of a 41-storey multifunctional complex located in Georgia’s second largest city, Batumi, on the shores of the Black Sea, offering views over the coast, Batumi Old Town, and the Caucasus Mountains.

Alliance Palace houses three types of apartments, with studios of 32 sqm, one-bedroom apartments of 45 sqm, and family apartments of 66 sqm, each offering air conditioning and fully equipped kitchenettes. Every room also has its own balcony to enjoy the views.

The property also boasts an all-day dining restaurant operated by Georgian celebrated chef Guram Bagdoshvili, serving local specialties, international dishes, and Asian and Asian Fusion cuisine.

Commenting on Aimbridge EMEA managing Alliance Palace, David Anderson – divisional president at Aimbridge, said:

“We believe Eastern Europe has tremendous untapped potential. Tourism to the region continues to surge as the travelers seek out exciting new experiences and destinations, and their expectations for accommodations with outstanding, consistent service – exactly what Aimbridge is known for – remains high.

“The Alliance Palace is a great example of the new investment in hospitality in the region, and in Batumi, and we’re thrilled to be working with the property’s owners to help the aparthotel flourish.”

Part of the global Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Chain, Aimbridge signed the management agreement to operate the highly anticipated property Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio in 2024, with the complex due to open later this year.

‘Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio’ comprises several hotels, including the Wyndham Grand Residences Aqua Batumi Gonio; the Wyndham Grand Residences Family Club Batumi Gonio; and the Wyndham Grand Residences Riviera Batumi Gonio.

The properties, which sit in close proximity across one complex owned by European Village, are currently under construction and expected to open spring 2026.

The hotel complex is being developed in the luxury segment, offering All-Inclusive and Ultra All-Inclusive services.

Commenting on the signing, divisional president at Aimbridge, David Anderson, added:

“The three Wyndham Grand Residences are all within 900m of each other, stretching from the beautiful coastline and up into the hillside behind, and offer a variety of different accommodation options to suit families, couples and individual travellers.”

The Wyndham Grand Residences Gonio complex will offer a variety of accommodation options, including one and two-bedroom suites and duplex family rooms in the Wyndham Grand Residences Aqua; studios, apartments and duplexes at the Wyndham Grand Residences Family Club; and three-bedroom townhouses, as well as apartments and duplexes, at the Wyndham Grand Residences Riviera.

The complex will also have eight restaurants, cafes and bars, offering a variety of cuisines, with a rooftop lounge and bar overlooking the Black Sea as part of the Aqua development, and an adults-only rooftop restaurant/café within the Riviera residence.

Additionally, there will be a variety of business and work facilities across all three residences, including coworking space, 150sqm of conference space, and a boardroom.

Families with children will be able to enjoy kids’ clubs, and water sports. A fitness floor with group classes and a yoga room, as well as a physiotherapy and rehabilitation center, is also planned on site.

The complex is set to include 90 infrastructure facilities, strategically designed to ensure year-round occupancy. A key focus will be on providing top-tier medical rehabilitation and wellness services.

At the time of the signing announcement, Archil Partenadze, General Director of European Village Holding, commented:

"Luxury hotels are just beginning to emerge in Georgia, and currently, there are no All Inclusive services in the country, despite the high demand.

“We are immensely proud to introduce the first hotel complex of this scale. Partnering with Aimbridge, the global leader in independent hotel management, is a great honour for European Village.

“The collaboration between Aimbridge and Wyndham Grand, the pinnacle brand of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, brings world-class hotel services to Georgia. This partnership represents a significant milestone in advancing high-end tourism and hospitality in our country."
