In the mentioned period, the freight volume (92.9 percent) and the freight turnover (93.9 percent) decreased compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat) says Friday.
In the second quarter of 2023, in airports of Georgia volume of freight carried amounted 4.6 thousand tons, of which 87.0 percent was arrived freight and 13.0 percent was departured freight.
0.2 thousand freight flights were carried out in the airports of Georgia in the second quarter of 2023, which is 54.5 percent less than the same indicator of the corresponding period of previous year.
