Georgian sock manufacturer Altersocks has been awarded the status of bestseller in one of the categories of German Amazon. BM.GE talked to Nina Menteshashvili, co-founder of the brand.
"We have a partner and Altersocks’ socks are sent to Germany. The products are sold on Amazon. Consumer evaluations are positive, we had quite growing sales every month, which reached a peak in November,"- explains Nina Menteshashvili.
According to the co-founder of the brand, "Altersocks" has been operating for more than four years, and it has appeared on Amazon for a year.
She declares, that through this platform, apart from Germany, the brand's products are sold in several European countries and the United States.
As for the local market, Altersocks has eight branches in Georgia, six branches are located in Tbilisi, one in Batumi and another in Kutaisi. However, at this stage, due to restrictions, the brand operates through online sales.
