On September 5, the official opening ceremony of “Ambassadori Group’s” new project, “Ambassadori Aviation Village”, was held. The project, with an investment value of USD 15 million, is being implemented with the support of a state program and co-financing from the Georgia Economic Development Corporation.
Located across 16 hectares, “Ambassadori Aviation Village” brings together an airfield, an international-standard flight academy, an aviation club, and a residential community of aviation villas. The residential concept combines private villas with individual aircraft hangars and direct access to the runway.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia, members of the Government, representatives of local and international business circles, project partners, and more than 100 international guests. Participants of the international private aviation expedition visiting Georgia also attended the event.
“Ambassadori Aviation Village” is a natural continuation of Ambassadori Group’s regional expansion and investment strategy, creating synergy both between Georgia’s regions and among “Ambassadori’s” projects. As a continuation of this vision, we are also introducing changes to the “Ambassadori Island Batumi” project. Similar to the aviation village at “Ambassadori Kachreti”, the island’s masterplan will include a runway and airfield infrastructure, creating the opportunity for direct air connectivity with the island in the future.
During the event, the CEO of “Ambassadori Island Batumi”, Gocha Kamkia presented “Ambassadori Group’s” overall development vision and future plans. He highlighted the synergy between the Group’s projects across different regions and noted that the development of the aviation direction creates new opportunities to connect these destinations with one another.
“One of the core ideas behind “Ambassadori Island Batumi” is to develop a global economic initiative in Georgia and create an environment that offers new opportunities to both local and international investors. Today, companies and investors from various countries are already becoming part of the project. The addition of private aviation is a natural continuation of this vision - aviation infrastructure will add another important component to the project’s tourism, residential, investment, and resort functions, while connecting “Ambassadori Island Batumi” more closely with different regions of Georgia as well as international destinations,” said Gocha Kamkia.
