Amendments to the law of Georgia ‘On Energy Efficiency of Buildings’ were introduced on 10 June 2021. They came into effect upon publication (on 14 June 2021).
These amendments postponed the date on which the minimum energy efficiency requirements for: (a) buildings, building parts, or building elements, and (b) a building’s engineering and technical systems were supposed to come into effect. Now, these requirements will take effect on 30 June 2022 (instead of 30 June 2021).
