Gela Izoria, the founder of the tourist facility "Geluki" located on the Tskhvarichamia-Buriani road, stated that although they did not cancel reservations, they expected more activity. He told BM.GE about this.
According to him, a second cottage was added to the tourist facility this year, for which he invested about 70,000 GEL. Next year, he plans to add a third, larger cottage and a cafe.
"The season was good. We built a second cottage and next year, we are going to expand. We want to add a cafe, for which we are investing 20,000 GEL. We also plan to build a third cottage, which will accommodate about 40-50 people. We have not yet calculated the investment required to build the third cottage.
The snow also came very early, on November 27. Now, we have reservations for the New Year. The first week of January is also booked. Despite the current events, reservations have not been canceled, although we expected more. Customers are refraining from organizing various events. Accordingly, this had a significant impact on business,” said Izoria.
According to him, at this stage they only have Georgian clients, and they plan to diversify the market to foreign customers from the next year.
