In March of this year, the total volume of auctions for the placement of government bonds on the Armenian Stock Exchange amounted to over 50.5 billion drams ($120 mln), which exceeded the indicator of the same period last year by 12.82%.
As reported by AMX Armenia, compared to previous periods, both market volumes and trading in corporate bonds demonstrated growth dynamics.
The volume of REPO transactions in March exceeded 4.5 billion drams (over $11 million), which is 176% higher than the same indicator of the previous year. During this period, 34 REPO transactions were concluded.
Trading in stocks amounted to over 127 million drams ($300 thousand), and the market capitalization reached over 336 billion drams (about $900 million), which is approximately 20.6% higher than the same period last year.
