The main purpose of the event is to deepen the understanding of the climate change-related challenges faced by individuals and female (and male) business leaders, and the climate adaptation measures for MSMEs in the country.
In its efforts to contribute to an overall inclusive economy and to empower MSMEs to seek greener development paths, the EBRD’s GEFF has conducted a multi-faceted study on gender, climate change, and green finance in Georgia. The event will present the key findings and recommendations of the research conducted, including the awareness of climate risks and adaptation strategies, how businesses run by females and males access finance, and how women access green finance.
The event will take place online on 22 June 2021 at 11:30 a.m. and will be held in Georgian and English with simultaneous translation.
The event is now open for registration here. Everyone is welcome to attend.
