Embassy of Georgia to Japan reports, that another Japan-based company Marumiya started production of semi-finished products of Shkmeruli in Japan.
“We are glad to inform you that another Japanese company Marumiya, in coordination with the Embassy of Georgia, has started production of semi-finished products of Georgian dish Shkmeruli. The article about the new product emphasizes that Georgia is distinguished by its rich nature, ancient wine culture and unique cuisine,” the statement reads.
In addition, it became known a few weeks ago, that semi-finished products of another Georgian dish Kharcho would be sold in Japan as well.
Semi-finished products of Georgian dish Shkmeruli are sold on the Japanese market from January 2020.
