Archil Bakuradze Elected as a Chair of Microfinance Centre

At the meeting hosted by the international organization "Microfinance Center" (MFC) in the city of Budva, Montenegro, Archil Bakuradze - the chairman of the supervisory board of the financial inclusion organization Crystal was elected as the chair of MFC board. It is noteworthy that from 2019 until now, Archil Bakuradze has been a member of the Board of Directors at MFC.

Mr.Bakuradze is working in the financial sector, currently chairing the Supervisory Board of Crystal. For several years, he also chaired the Georgian Microfinance Association, leading the coalition for financial education in the meantime.

“It is a great honor for me to be elected as a chair of the MFC board, as the Microfinance Centre is a distinguished organization that has been diligently serving the development of the microfinance sector in our region for 25 years already. The solid foundation laid by MFC, the principles that are as relevant as ever, and the dedication and courage of its exceptional management and team are truly impressive. I am sincerely grateful to the Board, to my dear colleagues for their trust and look forward to our joint work to continue successful operation of MFC” – noted Archil Bakuradze.

It was the 25th meeting organized by the Microfinance Center. It is worth noting that at the event, the MFC also presented an honorary award to Crystal for its active membership. Having joined the association a few years ago, Crystal has been intensively involved in its activities since then.

As an experienced, highly reliable and reputable international association, the Microfinance Centre offers an effective platform for cooperation and professional development. It contributes to the efficiency of the financial inclusion sector, ensuring adherence to its standards. The MFC brings together 114 organizations, including 77 international financial institutions from Europe and Central Asia that deliver microfinance services to almost 2 million low-income clients.
