The Belarusian ambassador to Armenia will soon arrive in Minsk, according to Anatoly Glaz, the spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This announcement comes amid escalating tensions between Armenia and Belarus. On June 12, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared in parliament that he would no longer visit Belarus as long as Alexander Lukashenko is its president.

Pashinyan emphasized that one of the CSTO leaders supported Azerbaijan during the 44-day war. In response, on June 13, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan announced that the Armenian ambassador to Belarus had been summoned to Yerevan for consultations.

Glaz noted that Armenia and Belarus share long-standing friendly relations and mutually beneficial trade, and Belarus does not intend to worsen these relations.

He stated that Belarus respects the Armenian people and wishes them leaders who will think about the country's future and the well-being of its citizens.
