Armenia plans to adopt China’s expertise in integrating artificial intelligence into personal data protection systems. This was announced following a meeting between the Head of Armenia’s Personal Data Protection Agency, Grigor Nersisyan, and China’s Chargé d’Affaires, Chen Ming, held on December 10 at the Chinese Embassy in Yerevan.
The Armenian official praised China’s advancements in implementing AI-driven information technology systems, emphasizing the importance of bilateral cooperation in personal data protection.
In turn, the Chinese diplomat expressed readiness to foster collaboration between the two countries in this field. He outlined key areas of cooperation established over recent years and showed interest in Armenia’s achievements in personal data protection.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to discuss the details and timeline for further collaboration in the near future.
