Following the welcoming ceremony at the Ministry of Defence headquarters, Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan and Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani held a private conversation. This was succeeded by a meeting with their extended delegations.
During the meeting, both parties highly valued the current level of cooperation. Discussions covered issues related to Armenia-Georgia collaboration in the fields of defence and regional security.
Both sides also provided updates on the ongoing reforms within their respective Armed Forces.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Defence Ministers signed the 2024 cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.
