Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani.
The minister welcomed the ambassador and congratulated him on the election of Iran's newly elected president, Masoud Pezeshkian. He confirmed Armenia's readiness to continue multifaceted cooperation and deepen collaboration in new areas.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of joint programs in road construction, energy, and other sectors. Special attention was given to the necessity of promptly completing the construction of the third Iran-Armenia power transmission line.
A range of other issues of mutual interest to both parties was also considered.
