Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, in New York on September 26 to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation, with a focus on enhancing trade and economic ties. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Prime Minister Pashinyan and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah explored various avenues for joint ventures, particularly in the fields of economy, infrastructure, tourism, healthcare, and education. Both parties agreed that these sectors hold significant promise for mutually beneficial cooperation.
"We see great potential in developing relations between our countries," Prime Minister Pashinyan stated. He went on to present Armenia's "Crossroads of Peace" project, an initiative aimed at fostering regional stability and economic growth.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince expressed his country's support for Armenia's efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. "Kuwait is ready to back Armenia's initiatives aimed at securing peace in the region," Sheikh Sabah affirmed.
To facilitate the implementation of discussed initiatives, the leaders agreed to continue dialogue at the interdepartmental level. This decision underscores both countries' commitment to translating their discussions into concrete actions.
