Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Davit Khudatyan, held a meeting with a delegation led by Sweden’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Patrik Svensson. During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing joint projects and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
According to the ministry’s press service, Khudatyan emphasized the importance of relations with Sweden both on a bilateral level and within the framework of EU multilateral formats. Special attention was given to the Sweden-funded program “Support to Decentralization and Local Governance Reforms in Armenia,” which plays a key role in improving the local governance system and enhancing its efficiency.
The discussions also covered joint projects in the field of waste management and plans for their further implementation. The minister expressed readiness to continue and expand the existing cooperation with the Swedish side across various areas.
