President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan hosted the head of the European Union Delegation, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, to review the outcomes of their cooperation in 2024 and discuss future plans. The president described the past year as a remarkable milestone in Armenia-EU relations, marked by significant progress in bilateral collaboration.
“In building our relationship, we have fostered a positive atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust. On behalf of the Republic of Armenia, I can assure you that we remain committed to expanding the scope of our cooperation,” Khachaturyan stated.
Ambassador Maragos, in turn, expressed gratitude to the president for his personal role in strengthening ties between the EU and Armenia, highlighting the importance of the open and constructive approach demonstrated over the past year. He reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to efforts aimed at fostering peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, the parties discussed completed projects and prospects for further cooperation, with a particular focus on efforts to establish and strengthen democratic institutions.
