Armenia’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Suren Baghdasaryan, met with Vietnam’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bui Thanh Son, to discuss key issues of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Vietnam on its official Facebook page.
A primary topic of the discussions was the possibility of establishing direct flights between the two countries, which could significantly strengthen economic and tourism ties.
The diplomats also explored prospects for expanding cooperation in economic, political, and cultural-educational fields. Special attention was given to the importance of mutual high-level political visits for the dynamic development of bilateral relations.
Ambassador Baghdasaryan presented Vietnam with the concept of regional cooperation under the "Crossroads of the World" program and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with Vietnam in international and regional arenas.
Additionally, the parties discussed the potential for visa regime liberalization for citizens of both countries and measures to boost tourism.
