Armenian Minister of Finance Vahé Hovhannisyan held a meeting with the CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Kenneth Angel. The parties discussed opportunities for private investments in Armenia and the support of several social programs.
According to the Ministry of Finance’s press release, the discussions focused on housing projects for refugees, ensuring food security, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Minister Hovhannisyan praised the current level of cooperation with the DFC and expressed hope for its further strengthening. He noted that enhanced collaboration would contribute to Armenia’s sustainable economic development and the improvement of its investment climate.
