Armenian exports to the United States grew by 25% in the first ten months of 2023, reaching $50.2 million. This was announced by Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on his Facebook page.
According to the minister, the primary export items included jewelry, aircraft, alcoholic beverages, mineral water, and tobacco products. However, overall trade turnover between the two countries decreased by 59% due to a sharp drop in imports.
"The most significant decline was observed in the import of American vehicles, which decreased by 3.5 times, amounting to $442 million," Minister Papoyan reported.
