Armenia Records Zero Inflation Over Nine Months of 2024

According to Armenia’s Statistical Committee, consumer prices in the country remained unchanged from January to September 2024 compared to the same period last year, showing zero growth.

In September 2024, minimal inflation was observed, with prices rising by 0.6% year-over-year and by 0.2% compared to August of the current year.

Industrial goods saw moderate price growth of 2.9% over nine months compared to the same period in 2023. Year-over-year in September, prices for industrial goods also grew by 2.9%, with no monthly changes recorded.

Previously, BMG reported that the 2024 state budget projected economic growth at 7% and inflation at 4% (±1.5%).
